Scam Warnings for Exhibitors

We have received a number of concerns regarding attendees, exhibitors and sponsors being continuously targeted by scammers claiming to be or work with us.

The contents of the emails vary, but usually claim they can sell visitor data from our events. Please note that this is not the case.

Please read the small print and any emails claiming to have access to visitor data, attendee lists or delegate lists very carefully and inform us immediately if you receive anything unexpected or from an email address you do not recognise.

All communications from us, our events team and colleagues will only be sent from official domains including 'memoevents.co.uk' or 'b2bexpos.co.uk'. We sometimes use third parties including Eventbrite and ActiveCampaign to send emails, however we still use the official domains for replies.

What to do if you receive a spam email:
Ignore all scam emails inviting you to purchase any event data or attendee lists or exhibitor lists completely and do not communicate with them in any way. Even replying can confirm an active email address and you could be subject to future scams.

We do NOT pass your data to any third party without your permission and consent. Delegate lists and attendee lists are ONLY obtainable from us directly.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How many people attend the business expo?
The business expo attracts 150-250 visitors including local businesses, founders, small start-ups, charities and local reps from medium and large businesses in the area. People attend to network, make new connections and get connected.

Can I share my stand with another business?
In most cases this should be fine, but you should check with us in advance. This is to make sure the business you plan to share your stand with isn't then located next to another exhibitor who offers the same services.

What can I bring with me?
You can bring whatever you need or want, as long as it all fits within the space you book. We recommend bringing banners, a screen if you want to play a video or provide live demos. Ask our team if you've got questions or if you're not sure what space to book based on what you'd like to bring to the event.

Can I have access to electrics?
Absolutely, simply add electrics to your order. Electrics is available for £25+VAT. You must pre-order so that we can allocate you a suitable stand.

What size stands do you offer?
For most exhibitors attending, a 1m x 2m stand space is a great starting point. It gives you enough space for a couple of roller banners, table display and a couple of team members. If you're planning a demonstration, product display or want a more premium presence for larger banners, we recommend upgrading to either a 3m or 4m wide space.

What time can we set-up?
You'll be able to set-up on the morning of the event from 8am, please do not arrive any earlier as we need time in the morning to set-up the event for you. All stands must be set-up by 9:45am.

How many staff can I bring?
There's no hard limit on staff per stand, though we recommend at least two people. Extra staff passes are included in your booking, just let us know names in advance for badge printing.

Can I bring my own branded items and display materials?
Absolutely, and we encourage it. Roller banners, tablecloths, product samples, leaflets, promotional gifts, screens and tablet displays are all popular choices. The only restriction is that displays must stay within your allocated stand footprint and must not obstruct visitor gangways, fire exits or the stands next to you.

Do you limit how many companies can exhibit?
Yes we do limit how many companies can exhibit for each industry. We do this so there's a great mixture of exhibitors for attendees to discover. This also gives you the best chance to meet with potential prospects. To avoid being turned away because we've got too many of your competitors booked, we recommend booking early.

What are your payment terms?
Once booked you'll be sent an invoice to be paid to lock in your stand location and booking. Payment terms range between 14-30 days depending on when you book. All invoices must be paid before the event date. We do offer flexible payment terms for invoices over £1,000 and are subject to approval. We accept BACS payments and credit/debit card payments.

What furniture is included?
All stands come with a 4ft trestle table with linen. We do not provide chairs as standard as it's not recommended that you sit down whilst at your stand. If you need a break, there will be plenty of breakout networking areas where you'll be able to sit down.
